Has anyone figured out how to waterproof an E-trac yet?

how do the buttons work? Is the plastic in front of the screen thinner than the rest and is able to put pressure on the appropriate areas when needing to?
The Front is vacuum formed, It is thin enought to still use the buttons. Sometimes it may push two at a time but, The nature of the mod.

Like the one Joe has . He was selling a kit a few years ago .At the time you could send your detector to him for the modification or you could do it yourself .
