General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Has anyone tried the new 13" DD Detech coil for E-Trac?

did you contact UPS with the other guys details they maybe able to get it for you?

right balls up when this crap happens makes you wonder where peoples heads are when they fill out forms its pretty simple ebay have all the details on there for the seller i hate when they don't mark item as sent means they haven't done it the right way in my book, eBay set it out very simple so there are no mistakes, but people seem to think its a waste of time? mine has not been marked as sent its a simple click then the buyer knows the seller has followed the guidelines that work. hope he sent mine to the right address :biggrin:

Mine has never been marked shipped either.

ok guys ,uhh the guy is not honest he had given me a tracking # that didnt exist and sent a scan of a receipt of somebody else and kept saying it was me and was the address i provided. and that it was mailed feb 2 well now he says he just sent the wrong scan and here is the correct one. well what is interesting is the date 03-12-12 which appears to be today , 45 days and not even mailed?

Dave did you get a tracking number from him?

i did but after reading khw's post about him making mistakes all over the place we need to cross our fingers mine has been over 3 weeks this guys not getting real good press at the moment !!

so you been waiting over 45 days and he's just shipped it? this is what happens when people dont follow the way ebay has it set out its just plain stupid and lazy its so simple to do it right makes me mad when people are well just dumb.

feeling for you khw its just bad !!

Yes I got a tracking number but it only shows 4 movements in Bulgaria with the last one stating it is in the bag. That was a few weeks ago.

So glad I didn't order one now. I really feel bad for your guys that got ripped off.
 
i filed a complaint , will get my money or the coil , just a let down i told him to just express me a coil today at his expense , since this wasnt even mailed then he clamed up and acted like he didnt understand english and that he mailed it feb 2 and that it was being tracked , right after he sent the scan i posted that is dated today as being shipped . the feedback he could get on ebay as well as the feedback here far outweight the cost of just doing what is right and express mailing the thing out but who knows, he made a mistake and doesnt look like he is going to own up to it i will escalate the claim this week , it was under 250.00 so he has to have delivery conf or he loses, and i have my own acct rep at pay pal , i paid pay pal last year around 24,000.00 in fees, so that seems to get the wheels moving pretty quick , but i havent called yet , despite this i would bet you guys are fine , this isnt a postal issue just a mistake, oversight or whatever from the seller

Sorry to hear about your experience. I didn't have any problems and am pretty sure that in general they are reputable as making one mistake as they did with you gets them on the internet and their business can really be affected. Anyway, the sponsors will be carrying those coils in short order I imagine.

My own bad story: I ordered a 6X8 SEF from England and it arrived with a really loose coil. Was a pain to get it through the shaft - need string. But I don't like using string in the field too as I am switching coils often at times (upper stem, I have an extra lower stem.) Well, I found the same coil online at ebay direct from the manufacturer. English was a tough going with them but after a good 15 emails (and I am in no way exaggerating. I even sent pictures) they finally understood I wanted a tightly wound coil. It was actually a bit funny. Long story short, the coil I sent back to England never go there and I decided to send it for 10 Euro with 50 Euro of coverage and not for 15 Euro with 500 Euro of coverage. Now I got to fill out paperwork to get 50 Euro back - I'm out 100 bucks! But, that is life. I'm ok with it, luckily it wasn't a lot of money, and I'm just a teacher... (Any way, new coil is here and making videos, switching coils is quick.)
 
I email seller, i said i have been waiting 30 days, he said there was some kind of postal strike and i will take 50 days to receive coil. Should of bought the one we can not talk about!
 
oh boy same thing he told me strike in frankfurt or something. well he lied he just mailed mine 2 days ago , if it is taking another 45 days i am going to escalate the claim and i will have the money in a few days and he will end up being out a coil , i was with him until he lied and said it was mailed feb-2 then send a scan than wasnt mine then sent the correct scan that was dated that day
 
Has anyone received there coil yet and if you have how long was the total days for shipping to US.

That's good to hear! :thumbup: Hopefully the problems really were just delays with the shipping process.:shrug:
 
My coil showed up today.

Purchase Date: Febuary 15th

Arrival Date: March 22nd

Package and coil was in great shape.
