Hello all, just registered just purchased a manticore.

That should be a fun challenge for the Manticore.
Presently this is the smallest available.

Minelab M8 Manticore 8" x 5.5" DD

Hopefully Nel comes out with the Snake or Sharp for the Manticore.
Really nice coil.
I have it on my Tejon and Sovereign gt.

Yeah i might end up shoveling and sifting. I used to use tesoro a lot. Wish they were still with us.

I am surprised you can't find them.
A tiny short wiggle should pull them out.
Depending on the composition of the coins.
Copper or silver.
Try a single frequency.
Iron filter on. And silence iron.

Be interesting how that works for you.

I do know a Compadre or Mojave would punch straight thru all that iron.
Why I fell in love with Tesoros.
Best in nails I've ever used.

Truly sad their gone.

Wish Garrett or somebody had picked them up like they did with White's.
Tesoros iron rejection would have been a boost to Garrett's machines.
Be nice if someone could apply the ED 180 discrimination to their nugget machines.

The compadre a one knob machine was amazing. I have a lobo super traq and a silver u max. I just need to lesrn the manticore. Ive put about three hours on it. Running it just the way tha manual said to start. Have not modified anything. Your right i should find them. I found them with a land ranger pro with a fisher 5” coil so the manticore should not even blink. Ill figure it out.

Once you understand the Manti.
I'm certain it will make quick work of those coins in iron.

Switching to single frequency is simple.
And iron silence is that horse shoe button I believe.
Though going into settings and silencing it I believe works better.

I remember when i thought the t2 was complicated. I might just pull out the tesoros and try them. Its been years since i have touched them.

Compare them to the Manti.
Could be interesting.
Let us know how that goes.
Once you locate and mark them.
Give the Manticore a wiggle or two over them.
Hopefully learn something of it.
