Herbert Hoover - Campaign pin

kschae4

Well-known member
Found this pin and a Richard Hudnut Three Flowers compact face powder kit on the site of an old homestead that was leveled in the mid 60's to build one of our famous Jersey strip malls. This trashy section of woods is still frequented by the occasional and unfortunate homeless, though no one was in the makeshift shed at the time.
I hunted peeking over my shoulder fairly often, though saw none of them around. Both items were tid 37. Stats: relic mode,auto-sens,high density. Thanks for viewing.

Here's a reference picture of the Hoover pin, circa either 1928 or 1932. Fourth row down, second from left.

Way cool find Ken! I will have to look, but I think I have found the same compact. Glad you are still finding some good places to hunt.
Keep it up!

Holy crap thats awesome great finds!

Bunky -much appreciated. I didn't see the exact same compact item, but similar ones for sale on ebay, but it's cool find nonetheless. Are you swinging the safari or etrac more at this point in time?
Rusty- Thanks. Decided to hit the woods that we chose to bail on, that day when we each got those bogus speeding tickets.

Nice finds Ken. I would like to find a complete compact. Got a few halves but they don't match. Be carefull out there. HH :minelab:
