I know they have sold and upgraded a boat load of them... How are they working....????????????

I would be happy to report back on mine....if the winter ever ends here in Vermont!

I am happy to report that mine is doing great! Super quite in disc mode at 99 sens. Very little chatter in A.M. @99 sens. EMI...no problem. Depth department is good. Deepest civil war bullet @ 10" and gave a strong signal with at least 2" of leaf coverage. Hope this helps. Robert

Since I never owned the pre DST model I really can not say much about how they changed but I can tell you that as far as noise is concerned mine is silent hunting out side. Nothing but quite and target sounds. Love the 5 inch coil separates very very well and still seems to be a deep coil. So I like it.

Great Thank you Bryannagirl

Yes Sir....................................................................thanks Robert for the nice report.

Thanks Chuck..looking forward to when you can get out, and tell us about your experience

I have used my upgraded T2SE a few times now effective.runs quiet .I am now using it fitted with NEL coils the Sharpshooter ( easy as good if not better than the stock coil) also a Storm 12x13 for grassland searching. I have found that using the FE number 2c you do not hear the Iron but still see the numbers. At the same time you do not lose the good signals. For example I placed a Roman Sestertius UNDER a large Roman nail did not hear the nail but got the coin at depth. Should be useful in an Iron infested area. That is the smaller Iron on the big stuff could be different.

Thanks Ted ...............
