Hello All,
Went to an old homestead in Alabama this past weekend. Had to bush-hog the area first to get to it. Found some farming implements and a lot of old nails. Three cigarette lighters which surprised me. Only one coin, a 1918 Buff nickel. (rang up at 14-15) I have posted some pix of the finds. 35-39 sounds were everywhere. A lot of old cans and nails. A couple of items I am not sure about. One appears to be a scabbard tip of some sort and a drawer pull? The round dist with lines on it is truly a mystery. Any ideas are welcome. It seems to be copper. It rang up in the 31-35 range if I recall. Couldn't see a thing on it till I rinsed it off. The harmonica reed was found down here in the Tampa Bay area. That was a shocker when I saw it. Was expecting a penny at 34.
Thanks for looking
HH
