Hi,

I had an awesome hunt 2 days ago
The site was once (over 150 years ago) a " Gentlemens Entertainment Establishment" ie. with ladys of the night ..get it ?
Lucked upon it when doing research for locations to go
I broke a couple of personal milestones ...a Spanish 1 reale 1811 (rare in Australia)
and broke the 1600's (Wow, still cannot believe it ) a 1695-1700 British half penny William III
other very old coins came to light ...1806 & 1807 half pennys (george III), 1870 penny, 1895 silver shilling
and a nice old sailors belt buckle (the dirty devil:lol:)

The 1695 -1700 coin is on the top right in the group photo. It is fairly worn.
I have been told by Aussie detectorists (who know more than me ) on our forum here that its a William 3rd after 1695 .
I was far more exited about the Reale until people over here told me what the old copper coin was.
Happy swinging
