How many people use both the CTX and Excalibur

Working on the New Gray Ghost Amphibians for the CTX with some great result and I had someone ask for a way to use headphones between his CTX and Excalibur.
This endcap would allow Excalibur users to use CTX headphones, much like the old ikelite that so many still use, but now we can't get. Got a trip planned next Wednesday
to OC Maryland to look for a place and I am going to have the Big Guy OCC Mark use them for the day, before I send it to Wayne W at BigPond on the other side of the planet.

From your shop to Minelab's R&D. I am always mystified they cannot fix the few OBVIOUS design flaws in an industry standard unit that is fairly high priced and getting quite long in the tooth. Headphones and the shaft have not improved much at all from the old red NY Sword. In fact many prefer them to the new ones in some ways. You are the man, Joe! Keep doing the 'Tubes, I am a subscriber!

if u can do that with a 4pin waterproof coil connector i would love to have it on my excal

TC I am working on that, the only problem is the battery connection has to come from the other end, several little changes would need to be done to the machine itself. Will be testing a few next spring, if garrett PI's can do it why can't we, the Excalibur hunters. I really have learned a lot in the past year on the Excalibur, thru mistakes and trial & error. Give me One more Year on that.

Great idea !! I use both detectors...I wouldnt want to give up my Remote PP though..is there enough room to get another hole in there for PP cord?
If so...ill take one

Yes very easy, just like this endcap I made for a WOT coil, except the plug would be where the WOT Heyco is. I still have testing to do on this but should be January when I will have several hours on it. This one is going to a diver in Australia in a few weeks. He will be using it on his Excalibur for the diving then his CTX for the wetsand.
