Huge 7 silver Day, My best coin spill yet!

Today I met up with diggerDan and off we went to do some door knocking, first house we stopped at we got permission and we were there all day!

Dan got a silver dime right off the bat, and I got an odd scratchy signal, sounded like silver from one way but horrible after I turned 90 degrees, it was giving me a reading on the etrac as 01-47....03-47..So I dig and the first thing I see if this big iron chunk, pull it out and then I saw a silver. quarter....3 of them!!!! A washington and 2 SLQ ALL IN ONE HOLE!!!! man I was on cloud nine. I wished I had got the full dig on video!

Dan got a silver ring after that, we got it on video, full dig, we both got a ton of wheats...I got 3 silver dimes, and a sterling St. Christopher medal. I also got that on a full dig video.

Other finds were the toy firetruck, a 1908 indian, the good for 5 cent token and the cool cat button. So all in all I got 7 silver and dan got 3, .....a 10 silver yard about 40 wheats, one indian, and a token what a VIRGIN yard!

I am having trouble with my video, have tried over and over and cannot get it to work on windows movie maker, anyone know of any FREE programs that I can join clips together so I can upload it all together on youtube?

I found around the same quantity of coins today but not even close to the quality of your dig. Mine were all clad.

At lease somebody had a good day. Congrats!

That was an amazing day Terry, congratulations and thanks for the great pictures and story. -- Randy

Killer finds Terry - keep up the good work !

Also,I posted a photo of a Tootsie Toy - die cast Fire Engine that I found a few months ago that looks a lot like yours.
I did some internet research - looks like it was made in the 1960's era.

"at todays silver price that was around $45 worth of silver! wooHOOOOO"

Or 9 to 10 gallons of gas depending where you live. Can you believe people use to buy a gallon of gas using one of those silver quarters? It's hard to imagine how things have changed in such a short period of time. I guess on life time of sound money is all America could afford. Too bad, the new money is hardly worth the effort of digging it out of the ground.

Now that's a hole to be proud of, Congrats on all the great finds :clapping:

Thanks for the pictures Terry. Congratulations on the silver man! I've always had to convert my movies. The Zi6 I had used ArcsoftMedia. I was not impressed. So I had to convert mine to wmv files to use in Windows movie maker. But, you've been doing your videos longer than I have, so I don't have a clue. Hope you get it going.
