Hunt that started lousy ended up pretty decent!

So I headed over to the park today and started the hunt finding nothing but a park attendant in a golf cart telling me I can't dig here!
He looked all of 17 yrs old and it was the 1st time I've ever been approached. I was like "Ummmm, I've been hunting here over 20 years and never once had a problem."
"I fill all my holes and don't bother anyone". I guess that was enough to swat away this annoying busy body and I continued on, but still no luck.
I decided that since low tide was approaching soon, I would head over to the old beach and give that a shot.
Still no luck near the water line so I decided to give the higher tide line a try where all the rocks, brick and driftwood was strewn around making things difficult to swing.
Got a nice dime signal under a rock and out pops silver. A '51 Rosie! I continued along this rough terrain line and hit a nickel signal under another rock which turned out to be a Buffalo! (although trashed and I couldn't make out a date)
Continued on and the last signal was another silver dime, a '43 Merc! Then the gathering black clouds, thunder and wind chased me off before I could find any more silver but I was really happy how this hunt ended up! HH :) George
