Hunted all day for not a lot to show....still had fun!

I hunted from 10am to 6pm.....got 15 wheats, one 1897 injun (#12 this yr) crotal bell and some clad......I couldn't find silver to save my life!

I was out with my buddy again teaching him about detecting, so being with my friend was what made the day great!

He got his first ever indian today and it was an 1891.

Man a day like that would absolutely rock my world. Here in Washington I count victories in wheat cents. I don't even factor in finding Indians or silver anymore. Over 3,000 coins dug for me since getting my e-trace, only one 64 rosie and one war nickel. I am up 17 wheats though my oldest being a 1920!!! That's insanely old for around here.

Looks like a good day to me!!! I know what you mean about no silver.........last Saturday I hunted an old ballfield and got some clad and five real deep wheaties, but no silver.

I think it is my second bell this season! I will find more in fall when I hunt fields
