It was a fantastic weekend to hunt. My oldest coin was an 1885 Indian cent and it was also the oldest U.S. coin for the weekend. YIPPEE!!!! YES, I beat Larry for the oldest coin!
Also found an old silver ring, 2 small toy guns, 1896 Indian cent, 16 wheat cents and a handful of clad. The day before the hunt, I found a 1957-D (good year)quarter, 1918 dog tag and a ring with "Chicago at Brookfield, ILL" on the top of it along with a Panda. I'll have to do some research on that one. I would think meaning the Brookfield Zoo, but there's no "ZOO" on it. I've tried to research it, but have come up empty. Thanks for looking and HH, Nancy

Stay in and stay warm. Do your research and make many friends. Preferably with huge old virgin yards.
You take it easy up there in that area and keep warm. Good hearing from you! As for Larry, he behaves himself and he's not too hard to control.
