I was hunting an old farm today and this was the FIRST target I dug, I have absolutely NO idea what it is, but it has a clear date of 1773....man I am pumped up!!! I scratched it, sadly because it had roots all over, but right now I am so happy I don't even care. Before this my oldest coin was a undated capped bust dime. Someone tell me what this coin is please!!!!!

I took a bunch of pictures trying to get the best shot and angle....

Hope it is real, don't know much about them.
Too bad you scratched it. still a fantastic find.
Many congrats .

Looking it up,there is a rare version also that has eight harp strings and a dot on the cross.
Looks like a dot on the center of the cross to me.
I agree i would have it authenticated.
