I found a wheatie. Forgive me, I was using my F-75 because of the weight and I am not suppossed to lift anything over 5# for a week. I had two stints put in my right main artery on Monday.

I wanted to post it here because I have been posting here mostly.

well I got ya beat by 3...Stents that is.....Been there done that ...I have 5....3 Heart attacks and still dragging the Ex XS around. My drugs(meds) make me lose muscle, it seems, but still going.....I am only 45 but feel alot older ...I am not the stud I use to be....lol.....P.S. Look in the wheat fields for more.....I hunt near the deer crossing signs.....it works.....lol...Good luck jbow......:stretcher:

I am 55. Hang in there and do what the doctor says. My dad is 89. He has been ballooned 3 or 4 times and about 8 or 10 years ago he had double bypass, a valve replacement, had his coronary arteries cleaned out... he is going strong! He had the third balloon done in Alaska after driving the RV up there. Got it done and started driving back to Georgia a few days later... I have the RV now.

Medicine get's better and better... soon they will have something to build the muscle back I bet. They put me on asprin, Plavix, and Vytorin. I was already on atenolol. Vicodin for the back and I am ready to go !!! :goodnight:

If the Explorer get's too heavy for you, try an F-75 or if money is a concern try a used T2, you can get them cheap, they work very well and are so light an ergonomic you will be like the Energizer bunny...

In fact I will probably be selling my T2 soon, it is fresh from the factory with a new coil.

You could also give the X-Terra units ago they are all very light and, I know the X-Terra 70 is a great unit.

Mike:cheers:

Yeah but you have to buy extra coils... not that I don't already do that... thanks!!

I need to sell one already... I don't know what I want next, i'm sure there will be something though. I don't know about the weight but I would love an arc-geo mini. I could always get someone to carry it for me. It will pinpoint all ground disturbances on a property, like privies, wells, trashdumps, and gravesites and it is only about 500.00.

I think i'd like to try a Tesoro Golden...

I consistantly find more with the F-75. I have only had the SE for about 6 weeks and the F-75 for 3-4 months but I used a T2 for over a year so I was already familiar with the F-75 sorta.. The F-75's recovery is so much faster than the SE's recovery it is not even in the same catagory. You cannot swing the F-75 fast enough for it to be too fast. You can cover a LOT of ground with it.

As far as depth... I reeally don't know. Most of the old sites around here are hard red clay hills and rocks. I have found eagle buttons and minnies on top of the ground. Usually 8-9 inches is pretty deep for stuff around here. I found an IH last month with the F-75 and it was in that range, it hit hard. I have a quarter buried at about 10-12 inches. I can hit it with both the SE and the F-75 and for that matter I can hit it with the GT but the SE is the one that IDs best at that depth. I do get a high tone, (silver), on it with the F-75 but the numbers are lower.

The TID on the F-75 will work in any of it's mode. AM will go deeper than disc and static AM will go deeper than most any other detector... I have not used it enough to know much about it though. It is suppossed to be good for finding deep artillary etc.

I n Dec I will be 75. One stint. Still dragging the XS around. Sure wish they had a lighter 10" coil. Am using only the 5" Excelerator coil only due to the lighter weight....Jack
