I had a fun outing today....

I have not been out much after getting back from my beach trip other than a couple quick hunts.
Today after a few days of rain, I decided to try a new location and it turned out pretty good for me.
I finally found my first dollar coin for the year, got a good count of quarters, and scored a nice silver ring.
The ring weighs 14.7 grams and seems to have been resized at some point.
After about 4.5 hours I was done for the day.
Thanks for looking!

The beach is dead and most of my inland sites are pretty cleaned out. I read about a giant sledding hill not too far from my home.
I set off on an adventure to locate it. According to the post, it was behind the library. It sure was and right behind the police station, too !!!
I knew if I went strolling, a ton of cops would be marching up the hill. I decided to come back another day and ask permission at the police station.
I have had way too confrontations with the police over the years !!!!

My apologies to any law enforcement people. I dont disrespect cops but they have cause me some headaches on several occasions.

Funny you mention the cops……. Within about 15 minutes of starting out detecting, a cop happened to ride by on patrol…. He went right by me and never even stopped to ask me if I was finding anything…..
I hope the sledding hill works out for you…🤞🤞🤞

Nice score, congrats. Interesting looking ring. Good luck. Mark

Way to go. I haven’t had a good hunt like that for a while now. I find the parks are really being hit hard in my area. So many good machines working them even Pennie’s are getting sparse.
Nice ring find.
