I just couldn't stand looking all the old coins you guys were posting.I can hardly wait for it to get here.I have a old city park I want to take it to.Bill

A GREAT detector - I'm sure you'll like it - Good Luck !!!

get ready to hear something with every swing you take....
took mine out yesterday for the first time to a small park nearby for a quick learning hour.
there were targets everywhere - but the numbers were jumping all over the place. there were some 12/13 - 40's but wasn't really there to dig alot just listen...
i guess no one has hunted this place and cleaned it up yet.
i did dig a few memorial pennies and some junk.
need to go back and spend some time learning...and you will have a learning curve all right...

went out again today to an old school nearby - got 8 memorials, a nickle and a 1965 Q (close but no cigar)....
each time out you learn more - take your time and learn.
hopefully you got the sunray X-1 probe...without it you'll be spending too much time passing 8-10" of soil over the coil.
that probe makes finding the target fun.

I've had mine just over a month now and I'm just starting to understand it. Not that it is hard, but that it is so different from my past detectors. Be patient and give it time and the E-Trac will not let you down.

My first few weeks had me doubting I had made the right choice, but then I've seen this before on past detectors. I kept working with it and now it amazes me on virtually every hunt.

The Etrac purchase was a Ebay scam.I found out this morning.I'll go to my local dealer and order one.Bill

NEVER buy an expensive machine on EBay unless it's coming from one of the authorized dealers that sell there...that warranty is VERY important.
