Got mine mounted on a Stork Leg. Saturday and Sunday's low tides with good times and above freezing temperatures I"ll find out just how awesome the Beast is.
Sand is coming in, not a good thing but there will be some areas that just might give up something good. Can hardly wait, Yesterday's snow should be gone by the weekend.
 
With only a couple of hours swinging the 15" coil on a Stork Leg shaft, I have to say I am going to love the combination. With the 15" coil it is all about the area covered in a single swing.especially underwater, the reduced drag of the slim shaft I have a winner. I don't have enough time detecting with the M15 but the only down-side I have to overcome is the pin-pointing of a target in chest deep water were I can not see the coil. I surely do not want to drop my scoop point onto the coil. When the temp get back above 40 and the ice and snow are gone, I will be back in the water with my new toy.
