I switch between the 9" 3kHz and the 7.5kHz DD. I haven't put my 18.75kHz on in months.

just looking on the minelab website and the 6" 3khz concentric coil is gone !!!!!! maybe they are going to put up a DD 6" 3khz in its place? lots of fingers crossed here

To the best of my knowledge, ML never produced a 6" 3kHz. If they did, then I'd have one.....DD or not. In fact, I'll buy any 3kHz coil that becomes available.
It's a killer on deep coins and relics. The biggest downside is in super trashy areas, and where the mineralization is severe. In those instances I go with the 7.5kHz DD.

Old Longhair your right, my bad must have been a subconscious mistake in the hope minelab were looking and made us one like a small DD 3kHz coil i mean reverse psychology works some times

doesn't change the fact that lots of people want one small low freq DD please

well done Old Longhair sounds like they are listening and we can keep at them and will have a small 6in DD 3kHz coil before we know it.
