Im not sure why the 9 concentric is the only 3khz coil available. All I can tell you is that the engineering team is always working to produce new products and improve upon current ones.

I forwarded it to MineLab Customer Service directly. My intent was to make them a little more aware of the demand for more 3kHz coils of any size, by any manufacturer.

My thought is, that their engineers/designers have been too tied up in the CTX3030 to bother with small potatoes like this right now.
