Iron infested beach

DeMarco did a utube on the 3030 to show how well it did picking out good targets amongst all the iron.Im wondering how the etrac or explorer (set up properly) would do on that same beach.Anyone try it?? Im trying to justify the price tag of the 3030...Ralph

Maybe the best way to find out would be to ask someone on the E-track forum. The 3030 does real well.

I believe that working in iron conditions like the one shown in the video is what seperates the CTX from the pack. Try smooth tones and enjoy picking out the keepers.

I'm betting with a smaller then normal coil you could do as well as the CTX. I just put a S-5 on the Excalibur and cleaned house in a 40 x 40 area of nothing but trash, so I would imagine the same could be done with the two other options better then the Excalibur, you just have to worry about saltwater in the air...

With the 3030 you can customize a search mode that would save you a lot of time, I agree with good more. This machine is worth the extra money.
