Is your Whites genuine?

they are even making knock-offs of martin guitars..... strange though how we all wonder how this is happening....everyone a generation or two ago would have to buy from the local vendor as there probably was few other options....then the open global market thing happened, stuff got cheaper and cheaper......now we complain and wonder where it all went so horribly wrong as we load up the family car and go to walmart.......................................

People are always going to "price shop" and continue to look for the cheapest price they can get. It's just the nature of the beast.

But here's one for ya - There was a website asking seriously dirt cheap prices for detectors with White's and other detector manufacturer logo's. We made an attempt to purchase one, thinking it would be a counterfeit. Of the accepted forms of payment, we used PayPal but we never received the detector because there wasn't one. It was just a scam to steal our money. After a Paypal investigation and several weeks we got our money back. But I can't imagine how many people that used the other payment forms lost their money just tying to get a cheaper price.

The moral of the story: If it sounds too good to be true it probably is......

:usaflag: :minelab:There was a post sometime back for Minelab machines stating that you could call in the serial number and Minelab would verify if you owned a legitimate machine. All major detector companies probably do the same. A lot of people buy and support the economies of countries we have been to war with and complain about our economic crisis. Before buying a used detector ask for the serial number and call the company that made it and find out if it is counterfeit or not. Just a thought. Buy AMERICAN :minelab:

In The USA ??????? If you have can you please posts a picture so we can all have a look at it..

Do not expect the Chinese government to do more than make soothing noises.. They are in bed with their rip off companies...

Now, Boeing is sending aircraft parts technology to China and a senior engineer to set up a factory there making aircraft parts and doing partial assembly as part of the deal to sell airliners to China...
I predict that within three years the technology will be transferred to the Chinese Military Industrial Complex and the Boeing engineers will be sent packing... Shortly after China will be competing for aircraft parts manufacturing world wide...

Boeing and the U.S. Congress insist there will be strict controls in place to protect US technology... (rotflmao)

I predict that every word spoken in that Chinese built building will be recorded and transcribed into Chinese...
Every key stroke on every computer will be detected and recorded...
The chinese janitors will carefully collect every strip of shredded documents, carefully bag them, and put them in the dumpster - where they will go to a large warehouse where hundreds of chinese women will carefully sort and reassemble every shred of paper back into readable documents...

The stupidity of Boeing and the U.S. Government is not JUST breath taking - it is treason...
