Yesterday late in the day I was at a older school and I started in the worst area but yet the best area. I think the area I started at was covered with pea gravel many years ago and the Etrac chattered real bad so I was chaseing false signals a lot.
I used what I learned from Deep Down "Dave" last weekend and if it wasn't for that I would of passed on at least half of the coins I found. One of the merc's I found, the tones were really bad, the FE numbers were all over the place but the CO numbers stayed in the good zone so I dug it. The other Merc was text book numbers and tones. I found the Rosie and the Religous medal in the same hole, I found the 2 IH's in the same hole and they was a good 8" deep and I got 2 wheat's in the same hole.
The last hour or so that I was there I checked out other areas where the Etrac did not chatter so bad and I didn't find anything good so the Etrac did good in a very tough area where others could not find coins.
Thanks for lookin
