Just ordered my Etrac

Back when I got my E-Trac from Detector Depot it came with a Minelab carry bag, Lesche digging tool, upgrade of headphones and Andy's book along with a Minelab finds pouch. The only other accessory you will need is a pin-pointer. Garrett in my opinion is the best hand held pin-pointer but the Sun-Ray X-1 is by far better (again this is my opinion). You will be pleased with the E-Trac and if you have any problems this forum has people that can help you solve them. HH :minelab:

If you have a lesche and pinpointer, probably a smaller coil for certain areas. Some like the 6"x8" SEF, Sunray X8, and Sunray X5.

I ordered the sun ray probe with it as well. I have a lesche and Garrett pinpointer already. Just didn't know if yall would recommend and extra battery pack or car charger etc?

A required "accessory" is the Etrac book by Sabich. Get some time on the machine and learn the basics and read the book. It really puts a lot of stuff together on the operation. Other than that I've only added a 5 inch Sun Ray coil. That should be a normal thing with about any detector for the trashy areas.

Just Kidding! I just purchased a used E-Trac about a month ago and figured that the E-Trac II would be announced the day after I picked it up..

Congrats on the machine! I have used the Explorer for years and so far the E-Trac has really impressed me....

If we don't see you for a few weeks we will know what your doing. Good luck with the the Etrac.

IM about to order the Etrac....I was looking for a new machine and my shaky hands are about to hit the trigger at Kellyco. I am hooked on MD since I bought my Fisher F4 (starter) in July. I found 3 silver, 1 indian head 1902 (in Canada) go figure and a large cent so far at 4 inches with my 4 inch C coil. The DD coil drives me CRAZYYYYY because it makes bottle caps ring as a good signal.

Question?
The DD coil that Etrac has....Does the multi frequency help out much . I have to use a pendenlum move on my F4 to figure out if target is jumpy so I can determine if its a bottle cap vs silver. Here in Canada the new clad is made of Steel----REAL FUN---NOTTTT !!

Yes the multinfrequency helps tons!!! Give me a call. I can answer all your questions and give you a great deal! Thanks, Bart.

Don't forget to download the Etrac emulator. It has helped me tons! I am in the process of duplicating every illustration/suggestion in both Andy's book and the manual. Sure helps knowing what to do in the field.

I thought all the stuff I was reading about the Etrac was just people hyping their overpriced machines. Boy, was I ever wrong. It not only lives up to the "hype", but exceeds it. You are in for a thrill ride with this machine. Before I got mine, I got pretty excited about finding the occasional old coin. Now I go out expecting to find several. (2 Mercs and 11 Wheats just yesterday!).

Im excited.....Will probably order mine from Bart at BIgBoyz.......bought my f4 from Kellyco but Bigboyz looks to have a better deal and heard good things about him and his site.

First run with my E trac netted me a 1917 S Standing Liberty, 1920s buffalo, and 4 early wheats! I'll get pictures up later.
