I have one for you.
Obviously you work for the railroad.
You work up north any ?

In Lake and Ashtabula counties Ohio their were two major train wrecks.

One in Ashtabula around 1876.
Lost 2 million in gold. Mostly coins.
Military money I believe.
Sketchy information on that.
Massive fire.
Mass grave burial.
Most people were burned beyond recognition.
Suspect the gold melted into the river.

The other in Mentor Ohio around the same time period. Lost many valuables.

I'll venture to say you detect many old RR locations.
Old depos could be very fun.
Though tons of iron.

Thanks for posting that link.
