found a 1914D wheat in a yard its in good shape . Can anyone grade this out there and who do I sell it to ( coin shops ) or pawn or what . This part I have no experience in a little help please

Don't know about the grade but congratulations on a great find. -- Randy

Wow...........you got yourself a nice key date Lincoln there........and pretty decent shape for one being dug............my opinion on the grade is VF+, could almost be a low XF............they usually always lower the grade by one notch on coins dug from the ground, they'll say "environmental damage".

Still a lovely key date and a VF lists for $450, but that's for a no problem coin.

AWESOME find buddy, here is a link to completed (in green) listings on eBay to give ya an idea!!!

Congratulations on a find of a lifetime. That is one for the professionals to authenticate and grade, but my guess is the best market would be Ebay, directly to the collector. But definitely get it slabbed first for top dollar. Congrats again.........:clapping:

Congratulations on an excellent key date coin. Thanks for the awesome pictures. Great find.

Wow; great find! One of 6 I don't have in my album. Congrats.

Hey DF,
Great find and your pics are exellent as well. Now how did that little gem end up in the middle of the U state? Ive got lots of 1914s but no D's Nice to see it can be done.

Good luck on the next dig,
Shovel

The good news is ; grade shows all of the details to make it an ex-40.
Now, the bad news is with it being a "dug" coin you will never be bale to
get PSGS to grade it.
There are still "lots" of people who would love to have it in their collection.
A fair market price for the coin to the right person would range from
$150.00-$275.00.
I hope this helps, and like everyone has said "very nice coin".

If it was my coin. I would take the $200.00
You "might" be able to squeeze a few more dollars out of
someone else. "Maybe"
Remember you can never got wrong by taking the profit.

I got 160.00 for a dug 1875 Indian on eBay. The next year i got 110.00 for another 1875 dug Indian on eBay. You will do well with your coin. I like to put olive oil on the coin and ever so gently rub it in. You will get the dirt off and still save the patina. Makes it look so much better. Good luck

Great job finding the key date Wheat !
