Hello everyone and Happy holidays

I bought the killer b wasps and was wondering what im doing wrong

They dont have that crisp soun that i anticipated They have a black and yellow nob which I dont know what they do
so maybe someone could give some info on how to get them set up right

Thanks

STEVE

If you can hear from them, then you have it set right. They have individual volume controls, and switches that change to the configuration so they can work with different models of detector.

Hey Steve,

How's your detecting been and what finds you been making???

Sorry I can't help you with the headphones. I put close to 300 hours on mine with the Koss 30's that came with it, then switched to SunRay Pro-Golds'. I like them, but they're going to take a little getting used to and there is a little difference in sound.

Take care,

NebTrac

You may have the noise limiter on. Flip both buttons up and test for volume increase. I usually turn the volume up on my machine and adjust my headphones. You did'nt say what kind of machine you have but I have Minelabs and a TEK G-2 and the KB Wasp works great on all of them. HH :minelab:

Don't take this the wrong way... my intentions are good. It might be earwax... I went to the Dr last summer and saw the PA, she said I had a wax buildup in my ears. My doctor never said anything about it but she did and she wanted to get it out... it was very uncomfortable and I was shocked at what came out of my ears..I swear one eay had a piece of hard wax almost the size of a cigarette butt... the other almost as big.

Later when I took a shower I was amazed at the tinkling sound of the water... these sort of things creep up on you and you really cannot tell. I have not stayed on it like I should but I put some olive oil in my earsa couple of days ago. I noticed in the shower last night I could hear the tinkling high frequency sound of the water again with my left ear but noth the right... I am going to have to treat it.

You, or anyone, night easily have the same thing. Not saying you do, but you might. Usually pouring a little olive oil in, laying on your side, and letting it sit for maybe 10 minutes then turn over an let it drain will really help... of course maintainance is not my strong suit... I am more of a benign neglect sort of guy... until things begin to fall apart of hurt, then I will do something.

HH,

J

Headphone use brings on heavy earwax. I have been involved in Ham radio, commercial radio and shortwave radio for many years. I know a lot of people in the broadcast industry. We all use headphones quite a bit.

Earwax is the body's defense against harsh or continuous noises. It is the body's way of protecting your ears. Too much though can cause problems.

Earwax is a common problem for people who depend on their hearing. Most use commonly available ear wax removal systems at least once a month to keep the ear canal clean. Warm Olive oil can also be used with an ear wash bulb to squirt warm water into the ear to remove the wax.

wow,I thought it was just me,I to had the doc. pull out a small marble size plug out of both my ears,I thought oh my when she pulled out the first plus I was like oh you just pulled out my ear drum!but it was explained just what you said and I felt AMAZING after that and could hear so much clearer. thanks

I also have played loud guitar and music my whole life, well since I was about 14. I have a Vibrolux Reverb and a Flextone III a Strat and a Suhr all in easy reach right now! I was shocked at how much wax was in my ears... I will try to keep up with it, I know I need to! Thanks for the info, I did not know that!
