Last Hunt Of The Year - Found A Newer Dollar

I only had about an hour to hunt before it got dark last night - and our local town hall / grange was on the way to my last firewood delivery of the day. This town hall was built in 1904 and theres a section of old sidewalk across the street thats about 100 ft. long. The first coin I got was a 1933 Wheat Cent - then a few newer cents - then I got a perfect FE 12 - CO 46/47. Dug what I thought was a quarter.

When I got home I looked at the coin - really muddy - what the ... looks like an Eskimo - Ah ha - it must be a state quarter from Alaska !
Turned out to be a 2000 Sacagawea Dollar - caught me off guard - I had never even though about finding one of these before.
At least the last coin I found in 2010 was a dollar - maybe it will be a silver dollar next time.

Happy New Year ! --- Mark

Congrats on the dollar,The surprises are always neat.
