Some finds from last weekend hunt (23/24) A hunted out park. lol Everything was 6 or 7 inches down. Ground was like cement. Of course i had to gouge everything
The 1876 quarter was in so many tree roots i could have used a chainsaw.

Nice coins! That just goes to show you that there is no such thing as "hunted out"...just to deep or masked and other detectors can't see. HH

Pro pointer. I'm not a seasoned detectorist. I've had a Xlt,CZ7pro. I still have my original XS used for year or two + a few beach trips. Had my E-trac for about 1 month(Thanks Bart) before the Ctx come out (Thanks again Bart).The park these come from i was actually run out of by the park police about 13 or so years ago. He was not very friendly about it either. I had seen people in there detecting in there thought it was ok.(i guess he didn't see them)
Over the years I've seen more and more people hunting in the park. I stopped one day and ask them if it was ok too hunt. He laughed when i told him what that officer said too me years ago. He said it was the old regime.
I was a member here back when the XS came out.
I'm here to stay loving the CTX
