8x5.5” coil and wireless Bluetooth headphones are included. The stock 11” coil is very lightweight too.Price increase, up to $1000. ? For that price, it should include a smaller coil. These big round 11” coils are just Too big !……. 8-9” round would be ideal for old coin hunters. Just a wish list !!!![]()
Maybe someday you will be able to buy a detector and have a choice of what size coil you want .because I would soley only use the 8”x5.5” and never have the need for any other coil. I just hunt private permissions (old homes and churches) all my greatest targets are 7”- 10” . Rarely do i ever did deeper than that. By being able to pick one coil, that could get cost down a bit. just a thought.8x5.5” coil and wireless Bluetooth headphones are included. The stock 11” coil is very lightweight too.
Those marketers know what they're doing. It's $1000, but hey, it comes with a extra coil, so you're getting a deal..not really, It's not the coil everybody wants imho, but you can buy the 9" when it comes out and you can't unload your 8.5x5 because everybody has oneMaybe someday you will be able to buy a detector and have a choice of what size coil you want .because I would soley only use the 8”x5.5” and never have the need for any other coil. It is, I used it for the first time this past Saturday, for that reason I won't get the 9" when it's available, even though id really like oneThe 8X5.5 is an outstanding coil by the way.
Is this your first detector with just icons like the Legend and Score series? Did it come with a hard copy of the manual?I just got mine last week. It is taking a bit of time to understand how to set it up. The Manticore is much easier to toggle through the screens.....
At least I got the free back pack......they are free until supply runs out. Overall the machine quality is very good.
I have the backpack also, helps me carrying my clipboard, 200' tape, snacks, drinks etc for workgot the free back pack
Find any keepers ?Took it out today, very sensitive unit, used the small coil
Just my 2 cents,I have the legend 1. after watching the videos on the L 2 I cant see anything that would make me spend 4oo.oo more to replace my L1. of course Im 80 years old an poor. Ill admit that has a little to do with it.Is this your first detector with just icons like the Legend and Score series? Did it come with a hard copy of the manual?
Gary Blackwell YouTube Channel "The Skill School" did a really good introduction to all the Legend 2 Menu settings. Have you seen that video? He also did an advanced setting video too.
I am happy to answer any questions you have either here or in a private message. I was a final field tester for Legend 2.
