Made This Gold Platinum Ring Recovery Beach

Buried Crap NJ

New member
Tough go today pretty sanded in. I was approached by a guy who lost his gold /platinum wedding band 2hrs earlier in waist deep water. It took some convincing him that he wasn't that far out since it was now closer to low. He pointed me to the area. I had looked about 10 minutes and I noticed his wife a 100 feet further and walked to her she said they were where she was now! Ankle deep. I was telling her to post the loss on Craig's list and offer a reward.....just as I said that I got a double tone odd TID (12-21) number not matching coin or trash........ I knew it was the ring I said oh you don't need to put it on Craig's list she kept saying why as I walk over to her. I had forgot my camera so I am at the mercy of the owners to send me a close up so I can post. It was a beautiful filigree platinum center with two bands of gold flanking the center. She said it was made in Ukraine/Russia. I have since received a picture of the ring. I continued my hunting and was met later on down the beach with a reward of cash, for finding it.

Awesome Buried! Great positive publicity for us and a great feeling for you I am sure.

Way t go man, now another happy person going home with a smile on their face instead of that awful feeling you get when you lose something so dear to you. I have found over 40 peoples wedding rings for them over the last 30 years, such a great feeling putting a smile on their faces and taking away the tears. Super job my friend.

Congrats on the recovery!

Well done my friend !

Awesome story, well done, way to know your beach too, tides and all.
