Maps and newspapers?

saberrescue

I watch people on YouTube with overlay tutorials and they use a map that looks hand drawn (plat, survey, homesteads??) Now I live in Central Florida in the middle of the state where the only action is up North near St. Augustine or the beaches where everyone else and their brother-in-law is. My question is does anyone know where I can go, on-line or offline, to find these types of maps to ask landowners to be able to hunt? Also any ideas on where to find old newspapers for the area besides Google newspaper archives and library books?
