Mark Twain lived in Nevada?

I had no idea, but at one of the sites we stopped by Mark Twain lived at just before moving to Virginia City. Very fun find

Just think about it for a moment, you were standing on the same ground as Mark Twain and seeing the same things that he saw. You did good! :clapping: Kelley (Texas) :)

Mark Twain was ran out of Virginia City, Nevada. He also was responsible for a forest fire that burned much of the East side of Lake Tahoe
 
also stayed at a hotel that is now under lake lahontin read his early autobiograghy of nevada great reading and if you really want to read about a nevada badass that puts clint eastwood to shame look up jack longstreet ,dont beleive the morman tales of him ,he was the last of the civel war badasses that ever walked this earth
 
Speaking of Mark Twain, PBS is airing a a 2 part Ken Burns documentary on him. It started last night, but finishes tonight. More than likely it can also be seen on PBS's website. HH:thumbup:
