Minelab Service

I know in the past that Minelab service was getting beat up like a gym punching bag...

I've owned an Xterra 70, E-Trac, and now the CTX 3030... so for the last 5 years I've been a loyal Minelab guy...

I pulled out my CTX 3030 and wireless module for our annual polar bear hunt to get my batteries charged up.... no light on my wireless module... huh :-( Won't charge... Tried a different cable, then plugged it into a PC, then to the wall... This sucker appears to be dead !!

I emailed Minelab... They got right back to me and I followed up their question with a phone call which resulted in a RMA...

They advanced shipped me a replacement (and never asked for a credit card) that arrived in 3 business days..

Email Answered quickly: CHECK
Access to tech with a phone call: CHECK
Advance Shipping: CHECK
Excellent Product and Service: CHECK CHECK !!

Respectfully,
Paul

Not bad Paul! Haven't seen you online in a while...

Good deal Paul

I have had the exact same level of service. Got my first Minelab in '98 and had an old Excal, still have the E-trac, and the CTX. Excellent machines and excellent service for me.

They have greatly improved over the last couple years, I think it just took them some time to get settled in at the new location with all the new employees and new policies.

Great to hear of the great service Paul - they replaced my coil this winter in a week - obviously not an emergency situation like yours - I was very pleased.

Thats always a great thing to know, never know when your going to need that service, nice to know it will be there for us.

Yup, kept Darrin in the loop as to what my stock coil was doing (or not doing in some cases) and he gave me suggestions to try.
After thorough testing with his recommendations, I was given the green light to send it in for replacement with an RMA.
Turn around was a quick as a truck driver could get mine from Oregon to Illinois, and a new one driven back. Roughly two weeks.

Fast enough for me! :smoke:
