Finds are from a handful of weekend hunts since my last post. Everything was pulled with my Deus 2 metal detector.
All finds were found from researched old public city parks, old schools in North Dakota and Minnesota. One fairground was also hunted.
The monogrammed coin silver spoon was pushing a foot deep, and I am thinking it could go way back to the mid-1800s.
The small toy car was pulled from the same ND city park and read like about a 10-inch-deep nickel. It is a C.A.W. Midget Coupe Racer and is circa 1930-1938.
It just had one wheel on it, but I found 2 more in the hole and glued them back on.
A couple other interesting finds were pulled on Saturday at a fairly close Minnesota city park.
The Red Owl coal fob was about 10 inches deep. Red Owl was into coal starting in 1922 before they branched into groceries. There was a reproduction 50-year fob made in 1972 but this is one of the original very rare fobs from the 1920s.
It was caked in dirt and took me a awhile to clean it off.
The Rainbow Girls pendant was pulled at the same city park. This could date back to the 1920s as well and is a masonic youth organization. The pendant shows the headquarters building in Oklahoma.
The barber dime was pulled within a few yards of these two finds.
The Saint Michael medal was only about 4 inches deep but was locking on 92 silver dime numbers on my machine so I wasn’t passing it up. It is stamped creed sterling silver on back. These are still being made.
I am thinking the Egyptian motif design medallion is from the 1920s. Those items were popular shortly after the discovery of king Tut’s tomb in 1922.
I also managed 2 1924 D semi-key date wheat pennies. They were found at separate locations.

A couple starburst military buttons and navy button. All had very good depth so they should have some good age to them.

1967 aluminum wrap around pencil calendar
Couple brass Minnesota merchant tokens. One of them is unlisted and the other is circa 1917.
Couple marbles that happen to be in the hold of a bent nail I chased as it was bordering sounding like a coin.
