Mr. ET and me

Well, now that I am not tethered to a catheter anymore, I finally got out with Mr. ET. Only found one coin, it read 12-44, and it was within one foot of a buried kiddie wading pool in my fav park, 3 inches deep, had my 8X6 SEF coil on. The thing is that I was able to get closer to this pile of re-bar than anyone has ever been able to. I think I was in TTF:biggrin:. It nulled over the re-bar, but sang out, COIN. Who cares what settings I used, it worked. does anyone know what years George the 5th. coins were made, the date is worn off..........NGE

Nice coin. George V was King 1911 to 1936. Died in 1936. George V1 to the throne next and the coins were his in 1937.

Nice Find!

Thanks for the info y'all. I have another that I got with my Ex Es II, that is so nice, you can count the beads on the crown, and it was all of 10 inches deep.........NGE

Nice find. Thanks for the pictures. Glad you were able to get out!

Neb, as you may well know, I have been tethered to a catheter for about 2 weeks of our hunting season here in Michigan, and it was not fun. Tube was removed today (ouch) I thanked the doc, and said to him " I'm going dirt fishing" after a short explanation, I was off and running. In case you don't know, I had a low grade cancer tumor removed from my bladder, I never knew it was there and neither did the doc. It was a routine P.S.A. and digital prostate exam, whoa! Prostate was slightly enlarged, so he scheduled a cystoscope, to have a look-see at my bladder, that's when he found the 1 centimeter tumor. He did a biopsy, then made me an appointment to remove it, that was done on the 11th. Then on the 14th. he performed the RF heat therapy thing (purest form of torture for a male) zapped my prostate with 266 degrees Fahrenheit to make it shrink within 6 to 8 weeks when it heals, (thought I was gonna be on that bag forever). Within two weeks, he beat the dickens out of my best friend:punch:..........NGE

I pray for your sake that it is totally healed!!! I pray for our sake it is totally healed :lmfao: I don't want to have to visualize that procedure on you or any one else for that matter. 266 Degrees F....I can't imagine (and I don't want to).

Glad you got out! Isn't that something; 1cm...
