Multiple Silver, Indians, and tons of wheats

Today I finally got the chance to re-hunt my cousins late 1800s home. I hunted this yard 3 yrs ago with my ace 250. This yard is really small, in town. And I simply cannot believe I could have missed all this stuff....lol

I guess the etrac really is that good! Anyhow I got 4 silver, 2 rosies, one 1937 Merc and a 1942 quarter. 2 indians 1880 and 1904. ......21 wheats. Only dug 3 clad coins, they were nickels. I did not find any old nickels even though I dug all nickel signals. The 1966 senior charm was from this yard as well.

After I felt I had this yard fairly picked over, I went back to a sidewalk tearout I started yesterday. Unfortunately the city dug TOO deep and signals were almost non existant. I managed 1 wheat to make a total of 22 wheats today, and I found my 3rd indian for the day, 1867....wouldn't you know it, someone gouged a hole right in the middle of it!

Also got the good luck token, and the 4 cent token. I found it is from Van Wert Packing Co.

Terry. I must say you've hit this year running on all cylinders man! Congratulations on a lot of old coins. 22 wheats in one day is outstanding! Thanks for the story and the pictures.

You must still have a smile ear to ear !! Excellent finds. Thank you for sharing.

Nice diggin, those are the kind of days we all live for. Congrats on the finds.

Really Nice Finds! Congratulations!

Holy Smokes! Now that is a great day  Awesome.........

I can't believe the Garrett missed all that... I'm shocked:rofl: Seriously though, that sure looked to be a fun and productive hunt. Congrats!!!

BTW, I'm not a basher, as i have an Ace 250 in my garage. My daughter uses it. Great coin machine for kids, it just isn't going to pull coins out like an E-trac.

and these coins were NOT deep at all, deepest was MAYBE 5-6 inches. It is just that the etrac is way better at separation. WAY better!

As Ronny Reagan used to say "There you go again!" and you do go...sort of Goes4ever! Congratulations on a great day, did you get a video of it?

Tony I took my camera but was getting so many targets so fast, I didn't want to take time to stop and video!

Now that is a great day!

The right tool in the hands of the right person . . . . . .

Wow those are the days we all hope for.. Congrats and tokens, silver and all....

Congrats on a great hunt. Always nice to go back to spots we've hunted in the past and find more goodies. There is no doubt in my mind that the E-TRAC is capable of pulling out coins that you missed with your Ace 250. But giving credit where credit is due....... you're a much improved hunter than you were when you were using the Ace 250. Hit that yard again when you get a chance. If there is one thing I've learned in my years of detecting, you'll never get them all. By going back over the same area with a different detector (or at least a different coil), I'm amazed at what I've left in the ground on previous visits. JMHO HH Randy

What a day Terry, that is inspiring as always. You take the best pictures as well. Thanks for sharing. -- Randy
