My 1st ring for 2011

Dr.Bill

New member
At lunch today I went out for a brief hunt .Its much too cold for anything else brrrrrr......!! Joining me on the the hunt is another detector "nut" Tnvarmint . We had the park to ourselves the temp is about 25 and the wind is blowing 10 -15 mph making the wind chill very cooold ! In about the first 50 -75 feet I am digging a quarter and look around to see Tnvarmint digging a dime - Great we both scored . Then we both found a few trash targets and were getting very cold . We were swinging very fast heading back to the vehicles I get a strong high tone 12-47 bouncing to 12-48 and after some very quick digging and searching out popped a butterfly ring . A quick check when I got back to the shop and cleaned it up shows 925 with a A stamp . I am very pleased 10 days into the new year and found ring number 1 . Thanks everyone for reading .
