My 2008 Silver and Injun totals from my "hunted out" parks.

Congrats on a great 2008 Bryce. You deserve it. You have honed your skills, learned your machine and hunted your tail off.

Our hunt together was one of the highlights of my year. Looking forward to getting together again.

Bryce,

Congratulations on an outstanding year! I lurk the forum only once in a while, but whenever I do I look forward to reading your posts for a bit of motivation. You're a first-class detectorist.

I really appreciate your response Shawn. Thanks for the kind words...and I hope you keep lurkin'....and post some goodies of your own soon.
Good luck in '09...and thanks again.

Thanks Bob. It was great to meet you and hunt with you too. We had a great time that day...and it's one I won't ever forget. All the testing...coil switching...junk digging...good coin finding...then finally I got the one true deepie I was hoping for. It wasn't silver....but a true deepie that turned out to be an injun' from 11" down....and we all got to hear it...mess with it...experiment over it...run different coils over it...different machines over it...then finally I said...."ENOUGH....I'm diggin' it" :bouncy:
We'll do it again next season buddy.

the tundra is awesome. I hope '09 is a good one for all of us. I keep trying to type...but that picture makes me bust out laughing:clapping:
Tell D she needs to start doin' us hunters right by putting some meals on the table. Last time we sent her on a 12 pack root beer run...and I promptly hid 2 behind a pile of stuff in the fridge. When I came back 2 days later...the other 10 cans were gone...and somebody cabbaged my secret stash too.
Tell her I have another problem here..and that I said....A few Dorito crumbs at the bottom of the bag is a far cry from the steak dinner I remember requesting .

Thanks brotha'. I wish you could have come back for a day too...but maybe next season.
I probably won't be able to get too far from home because my dad isn't too good now either...so maybe we can plan something in St. Louis sometime next year. That would be a fun time...and I'm sure we could scare up a wheatie or two from those pounded parks.
To this day...I still cherish my first half dime...and the look on your face when I plopped it in your hand...and also the words you called me:biggrin: I didn't even know what that little critter was. Hunting with you that day was one of the fondest times I've had swingin' the coil.
Take care my friend...and thanks for responding. It's always good to hear from you.

Thanks GR. It might be a little hard for me to find many goodies in '09...'cause I'm not moving. These parks around here have been getting pounded since the 70's:rolleyes: Take care buddy

I think you wont have any problems finding them wheaties next year Bryce,.,,, IF you want ill go throw some on the ground for you  But nooo SILVER  Ill keep that for me lol me Good luck im sure you will find plenty next year!!!!
Derrell

Thanks Double D. I hope you're right...and that I can muster up at least some wheaties:thumbup: If not...I'll give you a buzz...and you can sprinkle some in front of my coil:detecting:

Bryce,

Congrats on a great silver and Injun year. A testament to your posts is that I'm not even a Minelab user and I checked this forum just to see if you had posted a "year-ender"! Thanks for sharing it! - Jim
