My oldest coin to date!!

Hunted for a 1/2 hour this evening before I had to get home. A local park that's only 60 years old.

Goes to show you ya never know what you will find.

It beats the Rosie's and wheats that have come from there so far!

Its a Draped Bust Large cent

5 possible "Varietys" and 829,000 made.

Trying to clean it now to get a better pic.

I can't say enough about the 13" Ultimate coil. I continually find coins in, around or over iron.

I know its not for everyone but I would hate to give it up!

cool find, i have found a couple of them but none with a readable date. yours has a date and thats cool! you know its special when liberty is facing to the right on a largie.
