My silver totals for 2012

I didn't get out near as much this year as I would have liked to. School occupied most of my time. However, for the time that I was able to dedicate to hunting, I don't think I did too bad.

1 1894 Peruvian Un Sol

And they're not silver but I also managed to find 2 '31-s wheats. I only pictured one because the other is in my penny book.

I never posted anything about this Peruvian coin I found. At some point someone cut out around the design, bent the middle out, and made it into a pin or medal of some sort. Too bad the dangling part wasn't still attached. I think it's pretty cool.

I try to hunt virgin sites as much as possible. It really paid off for me this year. Only a few of the dimes and that wheat were found in parks. The rest was all on private property that I obtained permission to hunt.
