My take at the 9th Annual Minnkota Artifact Recovery Group Spring Treasure Hunt.

Here's the haul from this past weekend. This was a Seeded Hunt, meaning all Coins were buried for everyone to find. It cost $80 to get in and most, if not all got their money's worth back out of this fun Hunt. I won't go into detail about each individual hunt. I just wanted to show everyone why they should try a hunt since you all have a great time, meet many old and new friends, and the great food served at these great events. So here's the take on the hunt. We had painted Dimes buried out in the field for Rolls of Clad. I know there were only 9 of each for the Quarters and Halves. I went out and found 5 Colored Dimes. What I received was a roll of Halves, 2 rolls of Quarters, a roll of Dimes and a roll of Nickels. The roll of Halves is not pictured due to me opening them since they had a paper roll on them, and I wanted to see if I got lucky to nab another Silver Half. Luck wasn't with me on that one, only Clad. I also threw in the Raffle and the Membership Prize that I also received at this event. I got as a Membership Prize, an 1899-O Morgan Dollar. In a Raffle, I won a 1911-S Barber Quarter and a Mercury Dime. I also took 3 First Place Finishes at the Find Of The Month, so I received another 3 Silver Dimes there. I found 12 Eisenhower Dollars, 2 Sacagawea Dollars, 3 Washington Dollars, and 2 Adams Dollars. I also received 9 $1 Bills in the Mailbox Hunt, which I spent in Raffles that is not pictured. I also got 33 Kennedy Clad Halves (20 are from the Roll), 1 Franklin Half, 1 '64 Kennedy Half, and 3 Silver-Clad Kennedy Halves. 93 Wheat Pennies were also hauled in, luckily most of them were inside Film Canisters (3 Cache's I recovered) so I didn't have to pick each one up individually. The 2 Gold Coins pictured are Coins I received from Gary Kruesel in doing a trade for some of my Good For Tokens. I also made some actual finds during this last weekend. I will post them tomorrow night after work. Hope you all found some goodies this past weekend and Good Luck and HH to you all. Thanks for looking. Enjoy! [attachment 91565 CladRolls.jpg][attachment 91566 Dollars.jpg][attachment 91567 Halves.jpg][attachment 91572 QuarterDimesNickels.jpg][attachment 91579 Wheats.jpg][attachment 91581 GoldCoins.jpg]

I can tell you that my Leather Pouch was getting very heavy with all those Rolls, Halves, Dollars and the rest of the Coins. It was a lot of fun finding that much stuff to add to the hoard back home here. Good Luck and HH.

The one on Sunday is the better one but I am sure glad I found the Coin I did on Saturday Morning as well. Post will be later today. I also have your finds Rick, which I will swing out Friday to you. Good Luck and HH.

Nice finds James I always enjoy reading and seeing your post. My SE should be back from minelab tomorrow they said the main board was bad but get this they mistakenly sent me a new minelab SE PRO board via UPS yesterday they said it was some kinda mixup so there must be a difference in the SE and the SE PRO boards

I wonder if it has something to do with the New Coil? Only time will tell when some of us on here get one to check out. Thanks for the reply and Good Luck and HH.
