New Deus V3

I understand that there is an interest in a eBook version and we are looking into that but initially, hard copy will be the option offered. Sorry but converting a book with embedded images, figures and tables is not as simple as one might think - at least it had not been as simple as I had thought it would be.

As soon as we can get the conversion done - and there are multiple titrles we are doing - it will be released

EBook would be cool but I will take a copy any way I can get it. Just tell me where to order when the time comes. Hope it will be out soon. As long as it has been they should have had time to add the gold printer feature to it by now.

I will just wait for it to come out as an ebook. I have too many books lying around and only buy ebooks now.
Andy, just a quick question. do you use a self-publishing company? I have read on cnet about self publishing ebooks and in their article he said that alot of self-publishing companies offer it as an included bundle along with the actual book itself.
 
Call me old fashioned, but I like to sit relaxed with a traditional type of book in my hands.

I seem to be able to concentrate more for some reason than when using the computer to study.

Sat in my comfortable armchair with my faithful lab lying across my feet and being able to flick back to a previous page when I need to suits me just fine.

I must be taking in what Iam reading by my preferred way of studying as when I get out in the fields, I often get all my much younger friends and club memmbers a saying Jer whats this or that.

Just my take on the subject in hand.

Time for another cup of coffee after that.:thumbup: :beers: Jerry.
 
I hope they hurry up with v3 just for the pleasure of reading Andy' s book when it appears. When I had my etrac I spent many a happy hour studying the hints and suggestions within. A sensible book on the deus is badly needed just to explain some of the nuances not covered by the instruction book.

I totally agree!
 
If you get started now, you will be a lot further along when the V3.0 is released - it will not be a totally different beast so why own the Deus and not use it - tons of greats finds are being made ith the current version

I could never have too many good books.
 
I just really like having them all right there at my fingertips while using my ipad but I need to correct my previous post. I will purchase Andys book the day it come out as there is no way I wouldnt support all the hard work that I know he has put into it. I was just hoping but I do understand the added costs and limited market he has to work with.

Before the end of June I am sure of it it will be here by then. Just wanted to be the first to say it that is all I have no idea when or if it will ever be here starting to lean toward the never.
 
I no longer have the Deus, but I know it is a great detector. It just seems to me like the window is closing on the update hype. After all the first rumors had it coming in the new year. Good luck to those of you that hung in there patiently.
 
YE OF LITTLE FAITH, and the impatience of children,EVERYTHING COMES TO THOSE WHO WAIT!!!!!. As has been said previously by so many you will get a very well tested product which if they had not tested it fully you still would not have been satisfiedwith. GROW UP.
