New Etrac's first 5 hours.

This is my take from the first 5 hours with the Etrac. This is from a site that has produced over 100 wheat's and 26 silver coins with the V3i.
My first thought is, I am impressed with how the Etrac locks onto a coin. It also has great separation capabilities and goes deep with little tweaking.
I found 8 wheat's and one of the Rosie's in an area about 30' x 30'. I had covered it in the opposite direction with the V3i. The other 11 wheat's, Rosie and the 1907 Indian are from a trashy area on this site that I had not covered before.

Congratulations on all the finds! Sounds like both machines are working well for you. You should take the V3i out and try the trashy area that you just covered with the E-Trac and see how you do. Thanks for posting the pictures and details of your hunt.

FF43,

Well done indeed for 1st try out.
you have good taste in detectors with your 2 high end machines there
Is the Minelab heavier or lighter than the V3 ?
Cant wait to see next hunt if thats your first effort.
