Anybody close to Ringgold Ga, that could give some lessons or pointers on using this machine? I would like to find someone with a lot of experience with the e-trac.

You can learn a lot about you machine right here - many of the members of this forum have been in the hobby for decades and have been using their E-Tracs for several years now.
Just keep reading the posts in this forum and post any questions that you have.
Also very important - if you don't already have it - be sure to get a copy of Andy's book on the Minelab Exporer & E-Trac - this book is loaded with great info. that's not in the factory manual !
