New Update maybe in near future

Sorry, but that is just hearsay. I'll believe it when there is an official Minelab announcement.

I'll believe it when I see it. I'm guessing there will be a charge for it, and knowing Minelab as we all do, it'll cost more than it should. Hope not.

I agree, I have no confidence in these guys to do the right thing by their customers anymore!

The followup response to questions asked of the poster saying he had an email stating that CTX firmware updates are in the works was that all Minelab said was


"Over the next few months there are some updates to the CTX in planning. We cannot provide details right now, but please stay tuned!"

Unfortunately the guy is new to the forum with only 28 posts, so he hasn't been vetted too well. On the other hand now that Minelab has the new Gold machine and the Go Find out, it may have been time to dust off the ctx update project.

I think the new update well be when you plug your detector in the computer it well suck out about 3 pounds of guts there by making it a breeze to swing one word of caution make sure you use a heavy duty usb cable lol . sube
