NH Bobs Fall Hunt

I got the green light on the field for the fall hunt. This field dates to the 1700s. With a decent group of hunters, we should pull out some old coins and artifacts.
Of course again, I can not guarantee that all hunters will walk away with an old coin. The Detecting Gods make that decision as we all know.
The field is located near the center of an old town in South Western NH. It consists of about 40 acres of huntable land. The top of the knoll is corn field and that is surrounded by hay field. No houses are butting the field. There is cover in all directions, so it will seem as comfortable as a secluded field. The Gentleman that owns the property is kind enough to let us park behind his house in the field. Which is also out of sight.
As time progresses, I will have a Hunt date. Again, this is determined by the Harvest of both the hay and the corn. I do know the hunt will be in October.
There will be room for 25 to 30 hunters. The entry fee for this hunt will be $25 Payable by check and deposited in an account for the hunt. I will let all of you know when to start sending admittance fees. This hunt is dependent on an adequate # of entries. So the Fee will be nonrefundable unless the fault is loss of the field or some failure on my part to cause the hunt to be canceled. In either case, all entries will be returned in full.

Sorry Bob, I know it hurts to keep thinking about the bung hole heist....and all of your great finds gone....Maybe next time you will find your Rottie and Squeeze feasting on those scum bags of the earth!

I will be there for that October Hunt!!....Fall, my favorite time of year!

bob you can count on myself and my friend paul, enjoyed last one so much--- oct weather should be just right

I have a question sir!

Will this be, "a place" that has not and will not be detected by you and any other till the day of the hunt?

Or will it be or has been hit before? Before the Fall hunt?

If it is a Virgin field It would be great...if not....well second thoughts could accure.

Just trying to even out the odds! :smoke:

I walked the field twice consisting of maybe 4 hours total. That was last year. Hitting it while it's mowed is hard when you live 20 miles from it in a direction you never go, unless you go to hunt. I found a couple coins, a Brber quarter and a King George but the field is so large it's like painting a room with a Qtip.
The land owner and I will not let it be hunted till the Fall Hunt.
As far as if it's been detected before? I would be a fool to tell you no one has hunted it' and you would be a bigger fool to believe me.

HI,, Have never had a chance to hunt were really old coins can be found, would be such a thrill. Would you consider a person from WI to join you in the hunt? Would need to get a motel and really good directions. Thanks Harry
