Nice afternoon hunt

I got out for a few hours this afternoon. The weather is just gorgeous! I have found more silver than I ever have since getting my E-trac last fall.

Here are the pictures:

really nice

A great hunt !

The site I hunted was tough. A lot of nulling going on. I went very slowing. Both targets gave a nice silver sound in one direction and very iffy in the other. I went back and forth from straight on to 90 degrees and decided to dig after what seemed like a few minutes of indecision. Once the iron was out the hole the real "good" targets screamed. I am very happy. The last 6 hunts produced silver everytime. It's just too bad the lousy weather is coming. I'm HOT with this E-trac now!

terrific finds! what are your settings?
thanks!

I run in an edited E-trac coin pattern with the only change being their top line unmasked.

Variability at 29 and Threshold at 29
Auto Sensitivity at +3
Fast On / Deep Off
High Trash / Difficult Soil
Volume set so that I barely hear the background hum of the machine
Conductive Sound

If there is a lot of trash, I'll switch back and forth from that into a Two Tone Ferrous mode I set up in the E-trac Relic mode.

understood! thanks! do you feel that these settings have been "better" than the factory coins program for you?

I'm considering blank the 50 line on the conductive axis to decrease falsing but, other than that, yes.

sounds like a plan! good luck!
