NICKLE III cent coin

I have an 1881 and it comes in at 12-04 on the nose. I have been searching my local park that was established in 1867 and have never found one. what I did notice after digging several foil banner pieces is, pay attention to where the 12-04 falls in your coin demographics. foil is far left and the nickle hits are more centered. Please correct me if I'm wrong all.

Thanks for post,

Moose

Thanks for the heads up
I have fallen into the habit of seeing the low conductive and dismissing it as foil
But I will start paying more attention

Regards and HH

you 're not the only ones that ignored that number. I WILL be paying more attention now to the screen as that comes up! Thanks for the tip!

Interesting. usually just look at the numbers. Will have to start looking at where the cursor is on the screen.

Moose, what do you mean by " falls in your coin demographics"? If it is 12-04, shouldn't it always be in the same spot on the screen? Thanx, Mike
