I made it out yesterday for about three hours back to Ulster county. It was a nice afternoon to be out in the woods.

The Catskills may not look like much now, but you should have seen them a billion years ago.....
Anyhow, I gridded off some areas of this rather extensively stone walled area

I didn't find a whole lot except a button, part of a scale, and a Not One Cent Hard Times token.

I have previously detected this area and found numerous Indian Heads, about four large cents, buttons, powder flask, spoons - so I wasn't surprised to not find a whole lot today)
Well, my nineteen month old just woke up, I will have to cut this short....
The token came out of the ground looking really nice, but when I got home and brushed the dirt off under water it literally fell off.... So sad... I have seen coins flake and fall apart before but this was incredible

I worked on digging out the privy or well a bit more. I am not normally into doing something like this but this one looks promising. The picture doesn't properly show the scale of depth that I am already down....I am looking forward to some help in removing more stones so that it is safer and I can get deeper.
