off season battery care

Hi all, I hate to remind everyone that winter is nipping at allot of our heels in the colder states. so I was wondering how to care for the battery in the off season. I would assume you keep it charged but should you discharge it once in a while during the off season? Thanks all and HH. till it's over:)

There's an off season?

I agree, unless there is 3-4 inches of snow, I am hunting.
I love the winter because all the leaves are off and the brush and grass are down.

But i know some places get feet of snow.

Yeah some of the guys up north have it really tough, but here in Virginia winter is usually the best time to hunt.

Rub it in a little why don't You. Weather is turning cool hear, lots of forty degree days but still no rain. I've never before seen such a dry fall in this state.
